Adult and Pediatric Speech Therapy Workflow Overview
In this article, we'll guide you through the adult speech therapy workflow, demonstrating its features and functionalities.
Step 1: Begin with the subjective section. Here, you'll find a simple text box, followed by a section for patient goals. Patients can either select their goals from a dropdown menu or type in their own.

Step 2: Move on to the objective section. The first subsection here is auditory comprehension.

We've provided dropdown menus for each title, such as speech and reading, with options like 'within functional limits' or 'mild impairment'.

For this tutorial, we'll select 'mild impairment'. However, you're free to choose any option that suits your needs.
Step 3: Explore the following subsections: swallowing, cognition, verbal expression, reading, writing, left speech, and analysis. You're able to add or subtract sections according to your personal preference.

In the analysis subsection, you're able to provide referrals.

You're also able to write the test score of your analysis.
Step 4: Check out the list of outcome measures.

Here, you're able to select any option, followed by an easy assessment and the planning section.
Now, let's look at a different SOAP that we've customized for a different client.
Step 5: Begin with the subjective sections, which primarily consist of open text boxes for background information.

Once you've saved your entries, move on to the objective section.

This form is outcome-centric, so you'll find many outcome measures listed.

Step 6: Select an outcome measure, then move on to the test type section.

Here, you're able to select the type of test you want, such as oral or written.

You're then able to send the test to the patient.

Once sent, you're able to view the test.

The outcome measure will open in a new window, where you're able to write the score and fill out the form.

Once you've completed the form, submit the test.

Now, let's move on to the subjective section of a pediatric speech workflow.

Step 7: Here, you'll find sections for parents' or caregivers' concerns, as well as text boxes for subjective information and background information.

This is followed by a section for goals.

Step 8: Next, move on to the objective section.

Here, you're able to write comments and provide data to be pre-filled.

Finally, you'll find a wide selection of assessment tests to choose from.

We're able to customize this for you and add other outcome measures for you to select from. Thank you for following along with this tutorial.
